Founded by Lulu, Lulu’s Mental Health Trust was created to support people facing mental health challenges and to help fund organisations making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
Mental health has touched Lulu personally throughout her life - whether through her own experiences or those of people close to her - and the Trust was established from a desire to give something meaningful back.
Throughout her career, Lulu has supported a wide range of charitable causes including Comic Relief, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Help for Heroes, Prince’s Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer. In 2021, she was awarded a CBE by Queen Elizabeth II for services to charity, music and entertainment.
In 2025, the Trust launched its first major fundraising initiative with a sponsored walk across London, retracing key locations from Lulu’s extraordinary six-decade career - including the school where she filmed “To Sir With Love” and Decca Studios, where “Shout” was recorded. Supporters, friends and fans joined together to raise both awareness and vital funds for mental health support.
All profits from Lulu’s special charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 1 June 2026 will go directly to the Trust, helping support mental health initiatives and charitable projects chosen by Lulu.
